A night of collaboration, exchange of ideas, and collection of creatives and business oriented alum from Virginia Commonwealth University under the gallery theme “Uncommon”. Where there was also an auction for Senegalese artist and their artwork where all proceeds are sent back to them. Catalyst studios hosted their 5th Gallery Show in partnership with VCU to gather alumni from all years to highlight works and connect to prolong the connection of VCU to it’s post-grad community!

I, Sydney Wilson, showcased four pieces at this gallery. Three being new, and one being from earlier in 2025. This event was a beautiful opportunity to expand on my passions for educational delivery through my artwork with an active and live lookbook for one of my pieces “Harlem Legacy”.
