Being a part of The BLK Joy Art Show was truly an unforgettable experience! This was my second art showing in Orlando, and nothing short of amazing! I was already seeing familiar faces and getting the opportunity to network with so many new people. The mission behind the BLK Joy Commission was also amazing to be present for! This being their first art exhibition and knowing they are looking to source an outlet for healthcare within the Black community in Orlando with events, info sessions, and more is very refreshing.

I showcased three pieces, “Money Makerz”, “Just-”, and “Reification-Confusion”, all digital illustrations done on my iPad, printed and framed. This lovely three hour event was filled with so much energy and passion behind each artist’s work. Getting to speak on the significance behind my work while learning about other’s art journey is something I am always grateful for!
