Catalyst Studios "The Gallery" Legacy Themed

Each art event I am able to be a part of I am immensely grateful for. However, this event was the first time I took my vow I wrote to myself in December 2024 and brought it to life! I promised myself I would take a route of education, empowerment, and intentionality with my storytelling in 2025 when it came to all of my artwork. And by the time it was April 2025, “Harlem Legacy” was completed and ready to share with the world! I was in the process of creating an artist lookbook and historical breakdown for the piece! Which was truly an amazing experience for me to share with people as it allowed me to introduce the idea of substantial conversations.

I also showcased another new piece titled “My Legacy” which is the shattered piece and goes into shattering the shallow concepts we chase after in our lives; power, money, chaos, etc. and using my work to look beyond that surface. And I showcased another piece titled “Hometown Roots (Lemon Pepper Mumbo Sauce)” (it has a reason for the name in parenthesis lol) which was a homage to two cities I was born and raised in that shaped me today D.C. and Atlanta.
